Where automation helps — and where it does not
Automation is well suited to repetitive extraction, consistency checks and comparison across large volumes of documents or data. It is poorly suited to judgement under ambiguity, to weighing competing interests, and to accepting responsibility.
Where we cannot show our reasoning, we say so. Where a decision requires expertise we do not hold, we say that too.
